Automatic Update Checks

The Burrow desktop app silently checks for updates in the background on startup. If a new version is available, a non-intrusive notification appears showing the version number, release date, and detailed release notes. You can choose to install immediately or defer the update — Burrow will remind you on the next launch.

Update Channels

Select your preferred update channel inside the Settings panel:

• Stable: Fully tested and optimized releases. Recommended for most users.
• Beta: Upcoming features and bug fixes. May contain minor issues.
• Alpha: Bleeding-edge features and experimental builds. Use with caution.

Manual Updates

If you prefer to update manually, download and run the latest Burrow-Setup.exe from the Downloads Page. The installer updates the desktop client and background service without altering your configuration files, local databases, or projects.
